Original lithograph hand-signed in pencil lower right Picasso. Edition of 200, numbered in pencil lower left (25 additional impressions were designated as artist’s proofs, for an overall edition of 225). Transcribed onto the lithographic stone from Picasso’s crayon drawing and printed at Atelier Mourlot, Paris. This image was part of a series of works created by Picasso in 1963 and donated to the Movement de la Paix du Mond (World Peace Movement). Picasso’s crayon drawing was transferred onto a stone plate from which the color lithograph was printed. He indicated his participation in the project by pencil signing each of the finished lithographs.
