Claudio Janni is from Rome, Italy, where he studied at the Conte Verde School of Art. He attended the Nuova Italia Art Institute where he concentrated on developing his strong design technique that later served him well while employed as a head designer for the Justin Boot Company and Lucchese Boot Company.

After his education years, he traveled through Italy and Spain; he was greatly inspired by the numerous street scenes and vast country sides of Rome, Venice, Madrid and Barcelona where he completed and sold several paintings and sketches.

Claudio Janni's work is reflective of the true color of Italy's and Spain's surroundings, strongly focusing on light and contrast. His still life interpretations reflect his sharp and highly observant eye for realistic detail.
