Rick Cocke received his BA in Fine Arts from Washington and Lee University in 1968. He then spent over 20 years as a self-employed stone mason/artist in the greater Charlottesville, Va. area before becoming the head of the art department at the Blue Ridge School (a private boarding school for boy’s grades 9 - 12) in St. George, Va. After 16 years at Blue Ridge, he retired from teaching in 2006 and now lives on the Outer Banks. He presently works with acrylic painting and paper mache’ sculpture. One-man shows: Klein’s, 58th.
