At the age of fifty two, Ross D. Jahnig is a graduate of the "School of Visual Arts"located in New York City. Spending four years he has earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree."Living and working in NYC is like no other experience any person can have especially as an artist". While attending school he learned much about painting and the visual arts from professional artists such as John Button, Jack Potter, Sam Martine, Michael Loeb and others. I look back at my time in NYC as a foundation on which to build my artistic career. After graduating school in 1982 Ross returned to his home town of Rumson on the Jersey Shore. Having been active in showing work, he is a member of local arts organizations such as the New Jersey Art Alliance, The Guild of Creative Arts, and The Printmaking Council of N.J.
