Jennifer Schutzendorf, predominantly an oil painter with a focus on the light-hearted and whimsy of still-life and landscape, is committed to provided artwork that engages a child's imagination and sparks their curiosity for fine art. Artist’s Statement: Color, simple composition and approachable images make the expression through art both fun and safe for me. Having started a new life in the arts just eight years ago, I have come to cherish and embrace the process and the newness of it all as if I were a little kid. Not only am I energized by bright and bold colors and the playfulness of storytelling, but also by the reaction of others to my work. I love this important sense of connection. At the same time, by choosing this path I am able to create a place for myself in which I can express on a deeper and more meaningful level.
