Jabbar Al Janabi is an award-winning artist born in Iraq and now residing in Vancouver. In his recent work, he uses symbols in combination with contemporary stylization and abstraction. He is the founder of the AtmAsphere Society in Vancouver that promotes and directs postmodern cross-cultural and cross-disciplinary productions of music, visual art, dance, and spoken word.
