Robert MacIsaac was born and raised in Detroit, MI. In October of 1925, he came into this world, and from an early age exhibited outstanding artistic talent. MacIsaac served overseas in the American Army in World War II, in both the Philippines and New Guinea. He returned to Michigan after his service had ended, where he gained widespread recognition for his spectacular landscapes and his unique, artistic realism in maritime paintings. MacIsaac was also a renowned graphic designer, with his work including the Seal of the City of Novi. Later in life, he moved to North Carolina and then to Clearwater, FL, where he continued to develop his extraordinary talent producing unrivaled oils and watercolors in his favorite genre of landscape and maritime seascapes. MacIsaac died in Clearwater, FL, in December of 2000, and is celebrated for his outstanding artistic achievements.
