L.B. Jenson (1921-2004) was a famous Canadian marine painter and founder of the Museum of the Atlantic in Halifax , Nova Scotia where he lived. He was a naval commander and war hero during WWII. He was an artist/illustrator and contributed to several marine/nautical publications - he is well known in the Canadian maritimes.
