Bright modern marine watercolor. Full of rich color and detail. Framed in a contemporary blue marbled with gold frame that beautifully matches the painting. A top mat of mauve and a blue bottom mat accent the image wonderfully. Frederic Montague Charman was an American watercolor society Member ( 1894-1986). He worked in many areas of the United States , including out west in the Rockies .Charman painted landscapes from the the foothills of the Rocky Mountains to New York State.
