Giovanni Sanvitale was born in 1935 in Torino, Italy, and attended the “Albertina Academy”. Sanvitale is bound to the best traditions of the XIX Century. Beauty to him is still the one offered from nature; in fact, his pastoral and rural scenes are well known, like the paintings representing nice little animals and still-life, compositions with flowers and fruits. Versatile artist, he’s most requested also as a portrait maker, because he’s very clever in finding the various interiorities of the human figure. Sanvitale’s paintings are rightly appreciated both from critics and from public.
