Diamond Award Qualities
These qualities are not the only characteristics that qualify a site for diamond status. These qualifying aspects are simply a list of what the panel is looking for when reviewing a site for the diamond award.

GENERAL QUALITIES

- Promise of a lasting business presence
- The art actually displayed at the site
- The accomplishments of the artist(s) displayed
- Good content, originality, and completeness
- Creative art work or site theme
- Innovative technology or multimedia
- Useful information or service
- Easy navigation and fluidity
- Frequency of revision and up-to-date working links
- Interesting features with effective presentation
- Graphically pleasing with fast loading pages
- Accomplishing something stimulating and unique

Art related sites that are awarded 5 diamonds will be superior in design or content, an accomplished site or individual artist, or simply just an exceptional way of representing the arts via technology. When a site receives an award, the three, four, or five diamond image will appear next to the winning site. The link will also be moved to the beginning of its category in the Categorical Search that shows descriptions and logo's. The winning site may then optionally display the diamond award image that represents the number of diamonds the site has received. |
