| Notes: |
Stan Gorman is a fine artist, whose professional art
background extends more than thirty years, having
been an art director, illustrator, animator,
conceptual artist, teacher, and art consultant. Over
the years Stan has illustrated and animated for
many Fortune 500 companies.
Of Stan’s many artistic accomplishments, he
is most proficient as a fine artist. The medium that
he is most interested in is oil paints on canvas. His
interest lies in rich colors, strong well thought out
composition and dramatic lights and shadows that
frame his subject matter. The depth of his research
is reflected in the passion of his work.
Stan and his wife love to travel throughout
the world. While traveling, he likes to sketch the
interesting, historic and beautiful places that they
visit. This gives him the exciting content for his
paintings.
Mr. Gorman received an academic scholarship
to the Maryland Institute College of Art where he
earned a BFA degree. He has also completed
various post-graduate classes at Art Center College
of Design, the University of California at Los
Angeles, and Otis Art Institute in Los Angeles.
Born and raised in Los Angeles, he is
recognized as an accomplished illustrator and
animator. Now Stan has established himself as a
fine artist.
